Online Adjunct Professor - Biochemistry

Information technology is expected that an online faculty member will model a personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University, engage in an active commitment to and practice of personal spiritual formation within a biblically-informed Christian worldview, and follow lesson plans developed for the course they are facilitating. Online faculty should view the course being taught as a means to a significant educational end. They should strive to employ a variety of techniques for the development of good learning conditions and view each student as an individual. Faculty are expected to:- Teach material from approved curriculum in conformity with assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction. - Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning results. - Provide regular and timely feedback to students. - Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and by reaching out and offering assistance to absent students. - Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors. - Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. - Maintain and report student grades and attendance in conformity with University policies. - Other tasks as assigned.

Job Summary/Basic Function
Part-time, adjunct faculty needed to teach an online graduate level biochemistry course to Biomedical Sciences students.
Minimum Qualifications
M.D., D.O., Ph.D. in Biochemistry; minimum qualifications are 18 graduate hours in biochemistry-related coursework. Candidates must be committed to the evangelical standards and mission of Liberty University.
Preferred Qualifications
A clinical biochemistry practice.
