Job Title: W+D 627 Adjuster

Summary: The W+D Adjuster will perform quality checks, make size change adjustments, and troubleshoot issues as necessary in the production of direct mail envelopes.

Key Deliverables: Meet or exceed all Productive Time, Earned Time, Job Waste Management Objectives and other possible goals as determined by the company on the envelope folding machine.

Work Tasks and Duties: Set-up, provide preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, ensure quality, and sustain the operation of envelope folding machines in order to support the performance of the company by maximizing throughput and reducing overall operating expenses while meeting the service expectations of our customers. Ensure stability, integrity, and efficient operation of envelope folding machines. Maintain day-to day systems performance data to ensure maximum functionality. Participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing machine maintenance. Audit the performance of the machines and how they function and are working to maximize the performance of the company and support the leadership staff in accomplishing each of their departmental goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of systems and services performed. Take corrective actions after measuring the systems performance to make sure the plans/goals remain on track. Maintain active certifications required to operate, install, provide maintenance, and stay current within the systems industry standards.

Qualifications: ability to apply electrical and mechanical machine control concepts; ability to diagnose and solve problems impacting production; working knowledge of machining, robotics, electronic equipment or computer hardware; not afraid of operating a machine via computer consoles with limited hand tools required; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and interpret ruler measurements able to read and interpret ruler measurements; able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and crouch for a duration of a 12 hour shift; possess mechanical aptitude in order to learn how to make necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain production and quality.
